Team USA wins Medley Relay and Jessica Long Etches Name in History

Team USA won the gold medal in the women's 4x100-meter medley 34pts with an impressive time of 4:52.40 from Hannah Aspden, Mikaela Jenkins, Jessica Long and Morgan Stickney on Thursday night. Russia came in second (4:55.55) and Australia claimed bronze (4:55.70).

All four U.S. competitors have already won at least one gold medal in an individual event at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 and now have

the privilege to celebrate a relay medal together atop the podium.

Long brings the most experience to the relay team with her fifth Paralympic Games while Aspden is competing in her second Paralympic Games and both Jenkins and Stickney make their debuts.

Long continues to cement her name in the history books grabbing her 15th gold and 28th overall Paralympic medal. Long is the second most decorated swimmer in U.S. history.
