Brittni Mason ran a personal best time of 25.00 in the women’s 200m T46 to win the Paralympic silver medal on the final evening of track and field at the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.
The first-time Paralympian finished behind Lisbeli Marina Vera Andrade from Venezuela
(24.52) and beat out Alicja Jeromin from Poland (25.05).
The current world record holder secured an additional silver medal earlier in Tokyo after a season-best effort of 12.21 in the women's 100m T47 and also won gold with Team USA’s 4x100 universal relay squad including Noah Malone, Nick Mayhugh and Tatyana McFadden with a world best time of 45.52. Mason secured three Paralympic medals in her Paralympic debut in Tokyo.
