First-time Paralympian Nick Mayhugh impressed in record fashion with a gold medal in the men’s 100m T37 tonight at the Tokyo Stadium speeding to a time of 10.95. Mayhugh set a world record and Paralympic record en route to the first Paralympic medal of his career.
The now-Paralympic champion broke his previous world record that he set this morning during the preliminary heats (10.97).
