Liza Corso recorded a season-best time of 4:30.67 to claim silver in the women's 1500m T13 on Saturday night at the Tokyo Stadium. Once returning from her Paralympic debut, the 18-year-old will start her first season of Division I college track and field at Lipscomb University this fall.
Ethiopia’s Tigist Gezahagn Menigstu grabbed gold with a 4:23.24 mark that was two seconds off the Paralympic record (4:21.45).
