Eagles drop matches to APU and Point Loma

The Men's Tennis Team faced Azusa Pacific University last week in Azusa, Calif. and lost by a final score of 2-7.


In singles competition, the Eagles got two wins against the Cougars. Daniel Reddmann (2-6, 6-3, 10-5) and Thomas Kyle (6-2, 7-6, 7-3) both dominated their matches and came out with the win. In doubles competition, the Cougars swept the Eagles.


The following day, the Men's Tennis Team faced off against Point Loma in San Diego. The Eagles fell short by a slim margin of 5-4, Sea Lions.


In singles competition, the Eagles again came out with two wins. Nakita Katsnelson finished strong in a close game with final scores of 6-4 and 6-4. Man Hon Ko also grabbed a win with final scores of 6-3, 2-6, and 6-3. In doubles competition, the Eagles won two of the three matches against the Sea Lions. Florian Mayer/Daniel Reddmann won their match 8-5 and Nakita Ketsnelson/Shimon Murakami won  8-4.
