Francis won a share of the NCAA balance beam title and led UCLA to a fifth-place overall finish at the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas last weekend. Francis scored 9.95 in the semifinals to take home her first career NCAA crown, UCLA’s ninth-ever on balance beam and its 34th overall. In the Super Six Team Finals, she contributed scores of 9.95 on beam, 9.825 on bars and 9.8125 on floor, and she finished her illustrious career having hit 77 routines in a row without a fall.
This is Francis’ second UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
