ORLANDO, Fla., November 15, 2021 – Stefan Kozlov, JJ Wolf, Michael Mmoh or Maxime Cressy will earn a wild card into the 2022 Australian Open this week, as the men's Australian Open Wild Card Challenge concludes with this week's events.
The current Challenge standings are below, with the players still in the running
bolded. Kozlov, Wolf and Mmoh are all competing in the Challenger 80 event in Champaign, Ill., while Cressy is playing in a Challenger 100 event in Pau, France.
Kozlov and Wolf could potentially meet in the semifinals in Champaign, while Kozlov and Mmoh could play each other in the second round. Cressy and Mmoh would both have to win their tournaments to overtake Kozlov's current point total.

Robin Anderson clinched the women's side of the Challenge last week and will make her Grand Slam main draw debut in Melbourne. Both the men's and women's wild cards are awarded to the Americans with the most ranking points earned at a maximum of three indoor and outdoor hard court tournaments during a four-week window. All indoor and outdoor hard-court events at the 25 level and above, including WTA and ATP Tour events, will be included in the Challenge.
Americans who otherwise earn direct entry into the Australian Open are not eligible, nor are players ranked in the ATP or WTA Top 50 at the start of the Challenge. Should the player with the highest number of Challenge points earn direct entry into the Australian Open, the wild card will go to the next eligible American in the Challenge points standings. In the event of a tie, the player with the best ATP singles ranking on November 22 for the men will earn the wild card.
Both wild card recipients will have to follow all Australian Open protocols as it relates to quarantine or vaccination.
