NDNU fell behind early in the first game, surrendering two runs in each of the first two innings. Noelani Boyer homered in the first and added a two-run single in the second. The Argos cut the deficit down in the third with Aurora Adams driving home the first run before adding another in the fourth on a wild pitch.
The Sharks added two more in the fifth inning to make it 6-2 and eventually put the game away at 8-3 with a pair in the sixth. The Argos added their third run in the fifth inning on a double steal with Alessandra Giannavola coming in to score.
The Argos rebounded in the second game, jumping to an early lead with a two-run first inning. Adams drove in the first run on a double to the wall. She came into score on a squeeze bunt by Melissa Garcia to make it 2-0.
Pamplin meanwhile was in complete control in the circle, cruising through the first three innings allowing just one baserunner. After another scoreless inning from Pamplin, the Argos added an insurance run in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Taylor Haynes.
Pamlin took her no hitter into the sixth where she retired the first two batters of the innings. Her no-hit bid ended after 5.2 innings when the Sharks picked up a hit thru the right side of the infield. Boyer ended the shutout two pitches later when she hit her third homerun of the day to make it 3-2.
The game moved to the seventh still at 3-2 and Pamplin looking to secure the win. Taylor Okamura reached on an error to put the tying run on base with no one out. Haynes then came thru with the play of the day, running down a deep fly ball to centerfield and laying out for the diving backhanded catch.
Pamplin retired the next two batters, ending the game on a strikeout and earning her second win of the season. She went the distance, allowing just two hits and two runs while striking out three. Adams finished with two hits and an RBI to lead the Argos offensively.
