POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona basketball teams landed six total players on the 2017-18 California Collegiate Athletic Association Winter All-Academic Team, with three players from each team making the list.
The seasonal academic awards which were instituted in 2014, showcase individuals who are a sophomore in athletic standing or higher who maintain at least a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average while competing in a Conference-sponsored sport.
For the men's team Quentin Taylor, Ibrahima Diagne and Chim Okorafor made the list while Jackie Ricketson, Casey McWilliam and Kerianne Noonan represented the women's side. For Ricketson and Noonan, this marks the second season a row they earned Winter All-Academic.
A total number of 87 athletes made the list from all 13 conference teams.
