BURBANK, Calif. - Sophomore Tyler Collier
won the Burbank City Amateur Golf Championship last weekend by three
shots. Collier had a three-day score of 208 (-5) at De Bell Golf Club.
Collier was up eight shots after two rounds before holding on to the
victory after a 2-over 73 on Sunday (Oct. 11). Collier, out of Chico,
Calif. and a transfer from Oregon State, had a busy amateur season this
summer with a round of 32 showing at the Pacific Northwest Men's Amateur
and a T-20 at the Sahalee Players Championship. Collier will be
eligible to play for the Bruins for the 2016 portion of their schedule.
