In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. 
In the afternoon, the President and Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. 
Following lunch, the President and First Lady will welcome members of the United States teams and delegations from the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi to the White House.
Later in the afternoon, the President will sign H.R. 2019, the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act, into law.
In the evening, the President and Vice President will meet with the bicameral, bipartisan Congressional Leadership to discuss his recent trip to Europe and the ongoing situation in the Ukraine.

Alexandra Rose "Aly" Raisman born May 25, 1994 is an American artistic gymnast. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was captain of the gold medal-winning US women's gymnastics team and individually won a gold medal on the floor and a bronze medal on the balance beam. She was also on the US teams that won a silver medal at the 2010 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2011 World Championships. In 2013, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

UPDATED BREAKING NEWS: Fort Hood Army Base Shooting, At Least 4 Dead, 14 Injuried

UPDATE5: Fort Hood say; DES officials reported that at approximately 4 p.m. April 2 Soldier assigned to 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) fired shots at individuals in the 1st Medical Brigade area of Fort Hood. 
Within 15 minutes, emergency services officials responded to the scene. The injured were treated at the scene and transported to area hospitals. The suspect died of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.
In regard to the investigation, there is no indication at this time that this incident is related to terrorism. An investigation by law enforcement is ongoing and no further details are releasable at this time. 
Medical officials have confirmed four deceased including the shooter and sixteen injured. Officials are continuing to confirm the details of this incident and more information will be released as it becomes available.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the deceased, injured and their families during this difficult time.
Family notifications are ongoing; the names of the deceased will not be released until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified. Family members can call the Family Assistance Center Hotline at (254) 288-7570 or (866) 836-2751.
Chaplains have setup family counseling centers on and off post. Locations are the Spirit of Fort Hood Chapel and Scott & White Hospital.
The Red Cross Joint Assistance Center is established at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd., Killeen, Texas. Monetary donations made be submitted online at www.redcross.org.
More information will be released as it becomes available.
UPDATE3: Bell County Sheriff's deputy confirms 34-year-old Ivan Lopez is Fort Hood shooting suspect.
UPDATE2: A senior law enforcement official is reporting at least 4 dead and 14 other. We are working on confirming this.
UPDATE: Fort Hood's Directorate of Emergency Services has an initial report that a shooter is dead but this is unconfirmed.

The injured personnel are being transported to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center and other local hospitals. Numerous law enforcement agencies are in support and on the scene. The number of injured are not confirmed at this time. No further details are known at this time. 

The post is currently still on lock down.

BREAKING NEWS: We are getting word that there is an active shooter at the Fort Hood Army Base in Fort Hood, Texas.

Fort Hood Army Base says; There has been a shooting at Fort Hood and injuries are reported. Emergency crews are on the scene. No further details are known at this time. All personnel on post are asked to shelter in place.

There are reports of casualties.

THE MIDDLE: "The Smell" Premieres Tonight April 2nd

Rhythmic Gymnastics Is In Action This Week In Portugal

LISBON, Portugal – World all-around finalist Jazzy Kerber of Highland Park, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, and reigning U.S. junior rhythmic gymnastics all-around champion Laura Zeng of Libertyville, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, headline the squad from the United States set to compete at two competitions this week in Lisbon, Portugal.

Fresh off winning the clubs bronze medal at the KFK Gracia Cup, Serena Lu of Staten Island, N.Y./Isadora, will join Kerber at Lisbon World Cup, which is part of the International Gymnastics Federation's World Cup series. Champions will be named in the all-around and all four individual events.

Zeng and Camilla Feeley of Lincolnshire, Ill./North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics Center, will compete in the Lisbon International Tournament, a junior event, which is held in conjunction with the World Cup. Zeng and Feeley will use the event as part of their preparation for the Junior Pan American Championships, a Youth Olympic Games qualifying event, scheduled for May 9-11 in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Shailene Woodley & Theo James Attends "Divergent" German Premiere

Berlin, Germany - Actors Shailene Woodley (22) and Co-star Theo James (29) looked great as they stepped out on a Tuesday to walk the red carpet for "Divergent" German Premiere held at Sony Centre on April 1, 2014 in Berlin, Germany.

Shailene looked gorgeous in a long white dress with gold detailing and Theo wore a suit.

Shailene Diann Woodley born November 15, 1991 is an American actress. She is best known for portraying Amy Juergens in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013) and for co-starring alongside George Clooney in the critically acclaimed 2011 film The Descendants, for which she won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture. In 2013, James played the lead as a rookie detective and future New York City police commissioner Walter William Clark, Jr., in the CBS crime drama Golden Boy. In 2014, he played "Four" in the film adaptation of Veronica Roth's novel, Divergent.
