EXCLUSIVE Actor Spotlight: Paris Smith of 'Every Witch Way'

Paris Smith is a beautiful and talented fifteen year old actress from Houston, Texas. She stars as Maddie Van Pelt in the Nickelodeon series 'Every Witch Way' which finished their third season at the end of January.

We recently had the opportunity to interview this young lady on her role as Maddie, education, passionate about charities and if it is difficult being a normal teenage girl while pursuing a career in acting. Below is what she had to say.

You play Maddie Van Pelt on Nickelodeon's series 'Every Witch Way', tell us about your character?
Maddie is such a fashionista! She loves the fact that she is a witch so she can cast spells on Emma, Andi, and Jax! Maddie is very loyal to her Panthers and Diego! She sticks up for herself and her friends! I am obsessed with her wardrobe!

Are you like your character in real life?
I am like Maddie in the fact that I love fashion, just like she does! I am not as mean and bratty as Maddie can be sometimes, but I stick up for my friends, no matter what!

Every Witch Way Returns Tonight, January 5th w/Season Three Premiere, Elizabeth Elias Joins Cast

Fans of the Nickelodeon series 'Every Witch Way' will be able to watch the season three premiere with episode entitled "Beachside 7" tonight, Jaunary 5th at 7pm ET/PT. Emma accidentally freezes time and does not know how to fix it; a mysterious, new girl arrives in Miami.

New this season is the addition of Elizabeth Elias who plays the new girl Mia Velez.  Mia meets Jax at a boot camp and has a crush on Daniel. She also has powers and wants to "take down the chosen one".

In season two, Emma (Paola Andino) must now protect the Magic Realm and keep it a secret from the world. She also has to learn to control her powers and not be tempted by the dark side. Emma’s sure she’s got everything under control until a mysterious new student, Jax (Rahart Adams) arrives at Iridium High and throws her for a loop.

Meanwhile, things are quite different for Maddie (Paris Smith). Not only did she lose Daniel (Nick Merico), but she has also lost her powers.
