SAN DIMAS, CA, UNITED STATES, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Landscape Durable Tires and San Dimas Tire Pros are joining forces to host Treads & Tails: A Community Pet & Road Safety Day, a free event featuring off-road vehicles, car clubs,
comedians, a DJ, free food, dog activities, raffles and giveaways.The event will take place Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Landscape Durable Tires and neighboring San Dimas Tire Pros, located at 615 W. Terrace Drive in San Dimas.
Treads & Tails was created to bring the community together while raising awareness about pet and vehicle safety during Southern California’s intense summer heat. Hot weather can create serious dangers for pets left inside parked vehicles while also putting added stress on tires that are underinflated, worn or damaged.
Attendees will receive practical reminders about never leaving pets unattended inside parked vehicles, protecting paws from hot pavement and preparing pets for safe road travel. Drivers can also learn why tire pressure, tread condition and routine tire inspections become especially important during extreme heat.

The free event will feature comedy performances, DJ entertainment, off-road vehicles, car club displays, a dog-training demonstration from Sit Means Sit, the Ontario Tower Buzzers’ branded lowrider, pet activities, automotive displays and opportunities to learn about tire and road safety.
Guests can also enjoy free food while supplies last, event-only tire opportunities and numerous vendor giveaways, raffle prizes and free raffle tickets.
Some of the participating organizations include Landscape Durable Tires, San Dimas Tire Pros, the Ontario Tower Buzzers, Sit Means Sit Dog Training, Pet Food Express, Cordero’s Tires, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar and Crumbs & Roast Coffee Roasters of San Dimas.
Landscape Durable Tires will showcase its durable tires for trucks, SUVs and passenger vehicles, including its all-terrain, rugged-terrain and mud-terrain lines. The company is building a new category around tires engineered for extreme durability and its promise of “Less Wear, More Miles.”
San Dimas Tire Pros will bring local automotive expertise, car-club participation and tire and vehicle-service opportunities to the event.
