San Jose: 477 South Market Street Mixed-Use Project

The City of San José has prepared an Addendum to the San José Downtown Strategy 2040 Final EIR for:

Project Description: A Site Development Permit to demolish an existing single-story, 17,905-square foot commercial building currently used as a tire store, and an accompanying surface parking lot and to construct a five-story over podium (six levels total), mixed-use building with 130 apartment units, approximately 6,000 square feet of retail space at ground level, and one level of below-grade parking.  The proposed building would be approximately 154,100 square feet, and would be six stories in height, with five residential floors and a roof deck over a concrete podium and one level of below-ground parking. The building height is approximately 60 feet above grade to the roofline and 77 feet when including the elevator shafts.
