UCLA Spring Showcase on Campus on April 23

LOS ANGELES - UCLA Football announced Tuesday that it will hold its annual Spring Showcase, presented by Toyota, on campus at Drake Stadium April 23 at 11:30 am.  The hour-and-a-half long event, the Bruins’ final practice before opening camp in August, caps off a Spring Practice schedule that begins March 29 on the UCLA Intramural Field.

All practices will be on the Intramural Field and open to the public.  Viewing on the Intramural Field will be consistent with previous years at Spaulding Field, offering standing room observation from behind the south end zones.

Tickets to the Spring Showcase at Drake Stadium, which overlooks campus landmarks that include
Royce Hall and Powell Library, are available for $10 advance purchase or $15 day-of-game purchase (subject to availability). Children two-and-under are free. Thanks to the generous contribution of Wooden Athletic Fund donors, the first 1,000 students will gain free admission with their Bruin Card.  Tickets can be purchased by going to uclabruins.com/Tickets or by calling (310) 825-2946.
  
Key features surrounding the April 23 event include a post-showcase meet-and-greet/autograph session with UCLA Football student-athletes and coaches on Marshall Field at Drake Stadium, Fan Zone, concessions and local food vendors and fan giveaways of schedule cards, posters, rosters, practice plans and much more.

With fewer tickets to be issued – due to capacity at Drake Stadium – than the average attendance of the last three Spring Showcases, availability is on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.  Parking will open at 9:30 am and is available at standard campus rates in Lots 4, 7 and 8.  Gates to Drake Stadium will open at 10:30 am for the 11:30 am Spring Showcase and the meet-and-greet/autograph session following the event is slated to begin at approximately 1:00 pm.
