West Hollywood, California - The City of West Hollywood, partnering with the California Institute of the Arts’ Masters Program in Aesthetics and Politics’ WHAP! program, will present a panel discussion entitled “Political Fictions – Literature and the Political” on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the West Hollywood Library Community Meeting Room, 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. The panel discussion will feature Peter Gadol and Martín Plot. Gadol is the author of six books and has taught at UCLA and CalArts. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Graduate Writing Program at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Plot teaches in the Aesthetics & Politics Program and the School of Critical Studies at the California Institute of the Arts. He is the author of Indivisible (2011), La Carne de lo Social (2008) and El Kitsch Político (2003).
