West Hollywood, California - The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Youth Center and the City of West Hollywood are holding a clothing drive benefiting LGBT homeless youth through Thursday, January 31, 2013. Donations are needed of dress pants, shirts, suits, jackets, shoes, belts, sweatshirts and sweaters, as well as toiletries such as trial/hotel-size shampoo & conditioner, soaps, toothbrushes & toothpaste, shaving cream and razors. All donations will benefit homeless LGBT youth preparing for job interviews.
Donations will be accepted at the City of West Hollywood City Hall, 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and alternate Fridays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For more information, please call Corri Planck in the Social Services Division at (323) 848-6430 or email cplanck@weho.org For the deaf and hard of hearing, please call (323) 848-6496.
