New York City, New York - It has been revealed on Good Morning America this morning that figure skater Meryl Davis will be on the new cast of Dancing With The Stars with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Meryl Davis born January 1, 1987 is an American ice dancer. With partner Charlie White, she is the 2014 Olympic Champion, a two-time (2011, 2013) World champion, the 2010 Olympic silver medalist, two-time (2010, 2012) World silver medalist, five-time Grand Prix Final champion (2009–2013), three-time Four Continents champion (2009, 2011, 2013) and six-time U.S. national champion (2009–2014). At the 2014 Winter Olympics, they also won a bronze medal in the team event.

Maksim "Maks" Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian Latin Ballroom dance champion, choreographer, and instructor.

The new season kicks off March 17th at 8pm ET/PT.

Olympic Gold Medalists Meryl Davis And Charlie White Visits The Empire State Building

New York City, New York - Olympic Gold Medalists Meryl Davis And Charlie White showed off their gold medals they won at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics for ice dancing at the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, New York on February 27th, 2014.

These two will be in Japan at the end of March for the World Figure Championship. They made Americans proud their performance at the Winter Olympic earlier this month.
