MARIANA AND JESUS CLASH OVER THEIR BIRTHDAYS

ON AN ALL-­‐‑NEW EPISODE OF “THE FOSTERS,”

AIRING MONDAY, MARCH 7 ON FREEFORM

With their sixteenth birthdays just around the corner, Mariana and Jesus disagree over how to celebrate, on an all-­‐‑new episode of “The Fosters,” airing MONDAY, MARCH 7 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EST) on Freeform, the new name for ABC Family.

Jesus is upset after his plans for a low key birthday are supplanted by Mariana, who plans a huge dance party instead. Jude is excited by the prospect of a weekend visit with Connor. Meanwhile, Callie and Brandon strike a truce by agreeing not to bring their new respective significant others home or to family functions.

“Sixteen” was written by Melissa Jo Cerar and directed by Elodie Keene.

“The Fosters” stars Teri Polo (“Meet the Parents”) as Stef Adams Foster, Sherri Saum (“In Treatment”) as Lena Adams Foster, Hayden Byerly (“Parenthood”) as Jude Adams Foster, Noah Centineo (“How to Build a Better Boy”) as Jesus Adams Foster, David Lambert (“Aaron Stone”) as Brandon Foster, Maia Mitchell (“Teen Beach Movie”) as Callie Adams Foster, Danny Nucci (“Titanic”) as Mike Foster and Cierra Ramirez (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) as Mariana Adams Foster. Greg Gugliotta, Elaine Goldsmith Thomas and Benny Medina also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Nuyorican Productions, Inc. in association with Freeform.

MTV fans are you ready for an all new series? If so, you're in luck as 'Happyland', a new series from MTV premieres tonight, September 30th at 11pm ET/PT. This series stars Bianca Santos ("The Fosters"), Camille Guaty ("Prison Break"), Shane Harper ("Awkward"), Katherine McNamara ("Contest"), Cameron Moulene ("Raising Hope"), Ryan Rottman ("90210") and was created by Ben Epstein.

"Happyland" is a soapy teen dramedy​ exploring the underbelly of one of the country's most popular theme parks, going behind the scenes to reveal the not so magical reality of the park workers. The series centers on Lucy (Bianca Santos), the cynical teenage daughter of idealistic park princess mom, Elena (Camille Guaty).  Having grown up in a world of manufactured happiness her whole life, Lucy wants to get out and experience something real. When Ian (Shane Harper), the new park owner's son, arrives and sweeps her off her feet, Lucy is left wondering if fairy tale endings do exist after all. But when a scandalous secret turns her life upside down, she learns Happyland is far from a walk in the park.

Katherine McNamara is an American teen actress and singer, best known for playing the role of Myra Santelli in the Disney Channel original movie Girl vs. Monster. She is set to appear as Harper in the upcoming MTV series Happyland.
