CARLSBAD, CA, UNITED STATES, September 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The on-site teams at two North Coast communities, The Lark in San Mateo, California, and The Upland in Upland, California, have earned some of the highest resident satisfaction rankings in the country this year, according to J Turner Research's latest 2026 MSA ORA Power Ranking.

The Lark ranked #1 in the San Francisco-Oakland market, a market of more than 4.6 million

people, with an ORA score of 97. The Upland ranked #3 in the San Bernardino-Ontario market, a market of more than 4.7 million people, with an ORA score of 94. J Turner Research's rankings cover roughly 150,000 rental communities nationwide and name the top performers in the ten most populous markets in the country each year.

Online reputation has become one of the more reliable signals of operational quality in multifamily housing, a rollup of what residents actually say across the platforms they use to leave reviews, not a marketing claim from the property itself. It matters directly to renters, too: in a July 2026 survey of nearly 27,000 U.S. renters, Apartments.com found that 96% say reviews are important to their decision-making process.
