La Habra, California - Come celebrate the arts with the Children’s Museum at La Habra at our annual FREE Arts Festival Day! Get your hands dirty and let your imagination run wild as you dabble in a variety of mediums in this art inspired day. Families will enjoy fun, food, art, and free admission to the Children’s Museum at La Habra. Outdoor Art Maker Stations will be available all day and will feature Japanese Brush Painting, collage, watercolor painting, and chalk drawing. Visitors of all ages may also take part in a community art piece that will be displayed in the Museum once completed. Students from Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) will be creating colorful chalk murals for visitors to admire, while little ones can chalk draw in a designated space right next to them. Concessions provided by the volunteers of the Museum Guild will be available for a nominal fee. Admission to the Museum is free this day including a visit through our new changing exhibit CALIFORNIA: Full of Life featuring an adventure through our beautiful state’s natural beauty. Focusing on four of the many eco-systems within California, kids are introduced to different environments and the types of animals within each.
