In the morning, the President and Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.
In the afternoon, the President will meet with his State, Local, and Tribal Leaders Climate Task Force on Preparedness and Resilience. The President will provide remarks and engage in a discussion with Task Force members about a series of new actions the Administration is taking to support state, local, and tribal leaders in preparing their communities, including electricity systems and infrastructure, for the impacts of climate change.
Later in the afternoon, the President and Vice President will meet with members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. This meeting is an opportunity to hear from members of the Caucus about ideas for actions to improve our immigration system. The President will also emphasize the urgency for Congress to approve supplemental funding to address the situation at the Southwest border.
In the evening, the President and Vice President will meet with House Democrats on the State Floor.
