LA MARATHON ANNOUNCES PREMIER PARTNERSHIP WITH ARROWHEAD® BRAND 100% MOUNTAIN SPRING WATER

Los Angeles, California - More than 20,000 runners will reach for Arrowhead® Brand 100% Mountain Spring Water as they race from the Stadium to the Sea at the 2013 LA Marathon. When they do, they’ll reap the benefits of the marathon’s first “Premier Partnership.”

Nestlé Waters North America, the company that brings you Arrowhead® Mountain Spring Water, has agreed to a multi-year sponsorship in the Marathon’s new category of Premier Partner– the highest level offered below title partnership. As such, Arrowhead will be featured on all of the Marathon’s communications materials leading up to the March 17th race and in the race-day broadcast, while receiving extensive exposure on the course, including a branded mile dedicated solely to Arrowhead. The partnership also covers other LA Marathon properties including the LA Big 5K and the Santa Monica Classic.

The Premier Partner level of sponsorship is part of a new partnership structure recently launched by the LA Marathon that focuses on securing a select group of highly integrated partners. Race organizers are seeking to engage partners, like Arrowhead, who will help enhance the runner experience, elevate brand awareness and advance the sport of endurance running. Sponsors become affiliated with one of the largest organized races in the country, attracting marathoners from across the globe.
