Job interviews can be nerve-wracking and scary, especially when you've never done one before! Good news! We can help! We're partnering with San Mateo County Jobs for Youth to offer two FREE Youth Job Interview Workshops - one at Sandpiper Community Center and one at Red Morton Community Center.

The Redwood City Parks & Arts Foundation invites you to, DOWNTOWN PARK OPPORTUNITIES, a 3-part speaker series to hear from experts in the field of urban park planning and design. DOWNTOWN PARK OPPORTUNITIES is designed to inspire, educate and provoke thought while we explore options and discuss concerns as the City of Redwood City starts the design for parks in three downtown locations to be phased in over five to ten years. We invite the public to participate in these FREE events!

STEAM Fest on the Square is about bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math to families in a community supported, interactive environment for tomorrow’s leaders of San Mateo County and beyond. Every exhibit is hands-on, creating hundreds of opportunities for all attendees to get exposure to new things in experiential ways. Their mission is to inspire San Mateo County's diverse youth to see themselves as scientists, artists, creators and inventors.

Open Paint 2.0

Open Paint 2.0 by CATA is an admission-free, all-ages outdoor painting experience, following on the success of the longstanding Open Paint monthly community events.

For an entire afternoon, we will fill the Redwood City Courthouse Square with long tables where participants can sit to paint with friends, family, and strangers alike. Acrylic paint, brushes, and vinyl sheets are provided to participants at no cost. Canvases are available at the event for a suggested donation.
