Fire Station Open House Welcomes Community for Family Fun
Meet-and-Greet Fire Fighters at Station No. 14 on May 4
STOCKTON, Calif. – Join us Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a community
Open House at Fire Station No. 14, 3019 McNabb St. Stop by for family fun, free food, and
conversations with local fire fighters. Spring is a great time to pick up helpful information
on fire safety – reminders to post emergency numbers on the fridge, test smoke alarms,
and run fire drills so everyone knows where to go in case of an emergency.

Join us for tours of the fire station and talk with local fire fighters and other members of
the Stockton Fire Department, plus:

• enjoy free hot dogs and a jump house for kids,
• watch a Jaws of Life demonstration in action,
• pick up fire safety giveaways at community information exhibits, and
• stop by the Stockton Police Department table for free fingerprinting for children.

“The Open House on May 4 at Station No. 14 is a great time to talk with your whole
family about fire safety,” said Stockton Fire Chief Erik Newman. “All our fire fighters love
sharing helpful tips to keep your family safe. We welcome everyone in the community to
these open house events.”

For questions or additional information, please contact the Stockton Fire Department
Fire Prevention Division at 209-937-8271.
