Kipp had a match-high 14 kills
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Senior Kendall Kipp recorded a match-high 14 kills to lead No. 14 Stanford to a 25-18, 25-12, 25-18 win over Tennessee State, Saturday, at the Gentry Center.
Stanford out hit Tennessee State, .300 to .124, and racked up 9.0 blocks and seven aces.
Kipp had 14 kills on 30 swings with just one error to hit .433. The opposite also registered six blocks, four digs and a pair of aces.
Sophomore setter Kami Miner tallied 34 assists and had six digs and a kill. Junior libero Elena Oglivie collected five digs, two aces and two assists.
Sophomore middle blocker Sami Francis posted seven kills on .385 hitting and had five blocks, while outside hitter Caitie Baird turned in six kills, six digs and a match-high three aces in just two sets played.
Senior Natalie Berty came off the bench in the third and finished with three kills, while graduate transfer Emily Teehan had two kills, two digs and an assist in two sets played.
Stanford remains on the road, traveling to No. 15 Florida on Tuesday. The match is slated for 4 p.m. PT on SEC Network.
