Snowmaking systems at Northstar, Heavenly and Kirkwood are currently working at full-force, allowing for more terrain to open continuously throughout the week.

Northstar plans to offer top to bottom skiing and riding by the weekend, opening more terrain every day and Comstock Express expected to open as early as Friday. The resort already provides access to beginner and intermediate terrain and 20 terrain park features accessed by six lifts. The addition of the Comstock Express lift will give skiers and riders access to the East Ridge ski trail and more intermediate and advanced terrain on the front side of the mountain. Exact trail openings will be announced in the coming days.

Heavenly is scheduled to expand terrain this weekend, opening additional beginner terrain off Big Easy chairlift, accessing Big Easy Run, and Comet Express, accessing Upper Comet to Von Schmidts for return skiing and riding to Tamarack Lodge and the Gondola. The resort also plans to open Comet Run prior to Monday and will begin building the terrain park features in Ante Up terrain park for a mid-week opening.

Kirkwood is scheduled to expand terrain, opening Snowkirk Chair #1 Friday, accessing beginner terrain with Hayflam, then adding The Reut Chair #11 Saturday. Tomorrow a small feature park will be added off Solitude Chair #5. Exact trail openings will be announced the next coming days.
