JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – Dominican men's golf finished tied for fifth place in the CBU Lancer Men's Golf Joust at the Goose Creek Golf Club.
California Baptist won the 20-team field with a 10-over 850. Dominican finished at a 37-over 877, tied with Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Junior Nick Rivera and freshman Brittain Walton led the Penguins, each with an 8-over 218 to place them in a tie for 20th. Junior Brandon Brame tied for 28th with a 10-over 220 and Ty Macias finished one stroke behind him in a tie for 35th. Sophomore Paul Gunness-Bendetti shot a 25-over 235.
Dominican takes the course again Monday for the 2018 UCSD SoCal Intercollegiate.
