Temara Melek is a singer/songwriter from the Los Angeles area. Her love for music started when she was very young and she sang "Candle on the Water" for her first crowd at age 5. She went on to win an award in an international competition singing "I want it Now" from Willy Wonka. Temara enjoys the song writing process and is most at home on stage performing. The highlight of her career so far was opening up for Demi Lovato during a live stream concert on 2vlive in October 2013. She is a true triple threat. She is an award winning dancer excelling in hip hop but trained in all genres and has worked on several productions as an actress. She has also modeled for several companies including Junkfood Clothing and the NFL. She is under the direction of Straight Forward Music and CAA. Her first release (Karmas Not Pretty) under Straight Fwd Music is an infectious hit that has taken the UK by storm. It is available on iTunes. Her second international release was spring 2014.
