CALIFORNIA 7-DAY FORECAST

The Los Angeles Lighthouse, also known as Angel's Gate, is the only lighthouse of its kind in California. Built to withstand heavy seas, its unique structure is steel framed; the first two floors of which are steel plated. The solid design The solid design was challenged in a five day storm in the 1970s. At the end of the heavy storm, Angel's Gate remained standing, suffering only a slight list from the heavy waves that crashed upon it.
