WATER POLO: USA Men To Meet Spain In Tokyo Olympic Games Quarterfinal Round

Tokyo, Japan - August 2 - The U.S. Men's Olympic Water Polo Team has advanced to the quarterfinal round at the Tokyo Olympic Games and will take on Spain this Wednesday at 2pm local time/1am eastern on August 4/10pm pacific on August 3. Spain defeated Croatia to claim the Group B title at 5-0 while Team USA emerged from Group A as the 4th place team with a 2-3 record. The USA-Spain match will air LIVE on CNBC* and stream LIVE on the NBC Sports app, a live stream is also available by clicking here. The two teams last met in February with Spain claiming a 15-9 win in Italy. Tokyo marks the third straight Olympic Games the two teams will cross paths. Spain defeated Team USA 10-9 in the group stage in 2016 and 8-7 in the 5th-8th semi-final in 2012.
