In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.
In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room.
Later in the afternoon, the President will honor the 2014 National Teacher of the Year and finalists, thanking them for their hard work and dedication each and every day in the classroom. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Dr. Jill Biden will also attend the event.
