BREAKING NEWS: A gunman opened fire inside the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J. Monday night, New Jersey State Police reported.There was no immediate word on any casualties.
Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera said no injuries were reported and the mall was being swept for the gunman.
Police and SWAT teams were reported on the scene, with some stores in lockdown.
NBC 4 New York said witnesses reported seeing dressed in black, including a black helmet,carrying a rifle and firing shots.
WPIX 11 reported the shooting occurred about 9:30 pm on the second level near a Nordstrom’s department store.
