R&B/Pop Singer Lily Elise Attends NBC's "The Voice" Season 4 Premiere

Hollywood, California - R&B/Pop Singer Lily Elise looked gorgeous wearing a black top with a maroon skirt as she attended NBC's "The Voice" Season 4 Premiere at TCL Chinese Theatre on March 20, 2013 in Hollywood, California.

Lily Elise is an R&B/Pop singer from the Bay Area. She was a contestant on Season 1 of NBC’s The Voice, where she was chosen by Christina Aguilera to join her team. “Lily possesses an impressive range and ad-lib capability,” said pop icon Aguilera. During her time on the show, Lily Elise performed Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” with Aguilera and the other members of the team. To this day, Lily is supportive of the show, the contestants, and the coaches. In a recent interview, she stated, “I learned so much about who I am as a person and as an artist…The Voice gave me a great platform, and it’s my job to spring off of that.”

"The Voice gave me a great platform, and it’s my job to spring off of that." says Lily.

Since The Voice, Lily Elise has been performing around Los Angeles in venues such as The Key Club, The Troubadour, Room 5, and Hotel CafĂ©. She has sung the National Anthem at recent Dodger, USC, and San Francisco Giants games. Her version of “Keep on Runnin’” by Jackie Edwards was featured in the “Introducing Jot, from Ink” commercial for Chase Bank.

In addition, Lily has been in the studio, writing and recording for her solo project as well as for other major artists. “I’m not just a voice; I have something to say,” she explains. “Music influenced so much of who I am. I just want to give that back, whether it be through my own performance or through my songwriting.” Recently, Lily co-wrote 15-year-old Hungarian Idol winner Gigi Radic’s first single, “Daydream,” which premiered on the Fabry Show on the eve of October 19, 2012. Since then “Daydream” has broken records as the first single by a Hungarian artist to remain at the #1 spot on the charts for over ten weeks.

Lily also co-wrote “The Story’s Over”, another track off of Gigi’s debut album. All the while, Lily is writing songs for her own project. Although there is no set release date for her solo album, you can come hear some of the songs she has been working on live during one of the many shows she has coming up around LA!
