City of West Hollywood to Hold Budget Workshop on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 6 p.m.

West Hollywood, California - The City of West Hollywood will present a Budget Workshop on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the West Hollywood City Council Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard.  The City will present an overview of its budget and the Department work programs for the coming year.  Time will be set aside for public comment.

            Here is a brief overview of the City Budget:

·       This is the second year update to the City’s two-year budget

·       The two-year budget that was approved by the City Council last year is balanced

·       The City’s General Fund budget is approximately $70 million

·       The Special Funds, which are restricted for special purposes, have a combined total of approximately $20 million.

·       The City has received a AAA bond rating from Standard & Poor’s and Fitch Ratings.
