More than 150 alumni, professionals and engineering community leaders – as well as Sacramento State President Alexander Gonzalez and local dignitaries – are expected to attend. This year’s keynote speaker will be Brian Maroney, Caltrans chief bridge engineer and project manager of the new San Francisco Bay Bridge project.

Proceeds from the luncheon help to support the recruitment of promising civil engineering students, undergraduate and graduate student scholarships, faculty research projects, visiting scholars, and laboratory equipment in the program.
Kerri was a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering for nearly 40 years. In 1972, he helped establish the Office of Water Programs, which is recognized as the leading national training program for the operators and managers of water treatment facilities, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and wastewater treatment and reuse facilities.
